3D printed speaker

synthesis

The perfect speaker‘s transducers and enclosure are in harmony. The characteristics of the enclosure such as volume, shape, stiffness and weight are crucial in making good transducers sound exceptional. Organic shapes, custom horns, recycled high tensile composites, sandwich constructions - our state of the art 3D printer facilitates the possibility to make an unusual enclosure with specific hardware to create an extraordinary acoustical experience. Point source behaviour, high efficiency, multiple entry horns and excellent directivity control while having high output potential. This technology creates thrilling opportunities while being cost effective.

3D printed

The inner horn and the outer casing are made from PETG carbon printed with the AM Flexbot system. This design leverages the stiffness benefits of a sandwich construction. Finally, the 6-axis mill function of the AM Flexbot was used to mill out ports and bolt holes. The internal parts and adapters of the enclosure are printed using a small conventional FDM Printer.
